At what moment did you realize you needed healing —mentally, emotionally, physically, or spiritually, etc.?

There was never an exact moment. I realized at very different stages in my journey that I needed healing all around. Anytime I was triggered by certain events or if I noticed a trend in my behavior that I knew stemmed from my child hood, I knew healing was needed.

Based on challenges or struggles you were or are facing, how has faith helped you find strength in your healing journey?

Before I became a believer in Christ, I had little strength in my healing process. I have daily struggles just like everyone else, but I handle them differently now. Since I’ve become a believer, my faith has become so big and I’m so trusting in God now so I know for a fact that everything that God has promised me will come to pass. I walk different now no matter what I’m going through because the strength and joy of the lord is all over me these days. For that I’m forever grateful.

How have wellness practices contributed to your healing journey?

Pouring into myself and taking time for myself has been the best thing I could have ever taken into practice. I receive more clarity when I take times of rest or even attend a soul cycle class. Taking time to myself while I juggle mom life and all of my many hats are imperative to my healing journey because if I’m not the best version of myself I can’t be anything else for anyone else.
